About ImgPivot
What ImgPivot is
ImgPivot is a free online toolbox for converting images and PDFs. It covers the everyday jobs: turning iPhone HEIC photos into JPG, WEBP into PNG, shrinking images for the web, merging photos into one PDF, removing backgrounds and more (33 tools in all). There's nothing to install and no account to create.
You can convert up to 6 files at a time and download them all with one click. The site works the same on phones, tablets and computers.
How it works
When you convert a file, it's sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server, processed with well-established open-source software (libvips for image formats, Poppler and Ghostscript for PDFs, and an AI segmentation model for background removal), and sent back to you for download. A few developer tools, such as Image to Base64, run entirely in your browser and never upload anything.
Your files stay private
We don't look at, keep or share your files. Uploads are deleted within seconds of being converted, and converted files are removed automatically within about 15 minutes. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
How the site is funded
ImgPivot is free to use and is supported by advertising. Ads are clearly labelled and kept away from the upload area and buttons.
