Can I edit the SVG code?
Yes. The result is made of real <path> elements, so you can change fill and stroke, add classes, or use currentColor so the icon follows your CSS color.
Which images give the best SVG code?
Logos, icons and flat-color shapes with little detail trace most accurately and produce short code. Detailed photos get simplified into color regions (like Illustrator's Image Trace) and produce very long code.
Why is the SVG code thousands of lines long?
Every color region becomes its own path, so more detail and more gradients mean more paths. For shorter code, use a simpler image with fewer colors, or shrink the image before converting.
Are uploaded images stored?
No. The image is only processed to trace it and is deleted right afterwards. The resulting SVG code exists only in your browser.
